Roxborough woodland native Garden
An amazing woman contacted Awbury Arboretum Landscapes, where I was working as the Executive Director, and asked for a consultation at her recently acquired new home. She had a large lawned site with a few trees and wanted to create her utopia of privacy (via a living hedgerow), beauty, fragrance, edible crops, magic and safety for her grandchildren and most importantly, a native garden to sustain the local animals and insects. Her native gardens were a joy to design and install.
I attended the 2016 City Harvest annual kickoff meeting. I have been privileged to have been part of this organization for over 10 years.
